Out on the thick icy bay at first light, south westerly was a glowing crimson sphere descending on the horizon.
With fingers frozen, I lay upon the wind polished ice to snap a couple last shots before daylight would wash away the magic hour.
Never could I foresee then that this cosmic occurrence was to be the last image I'd capture for the National Geographic Society (NGS).
For more than 30 years working as a media professional, I traversed the world as a photographer, producer, journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker. A vocation that had begun taking a toll on my emotional well-being from covering perilous events and witnessing flagrant injustice.

My rationale as an educator incorporates cosmopolitanism, pedagogy and multidisciplinary experiences. As a multipotentialite with over three decades of extensive world travels and a wealth of cultural exchanges, my objectives are to inspire and scaffold learners to encourage them to ponder beyond the proverbial box.
Lesson plans are developed and refined to reflect a student's reality. As such, promoting self-awareness and self-esteem while delivering knowledge, but in a fashion that stimulates independent thinking, and possibilities onto purpose.
As a passionate and qualified teacher, my arts education approach imbues other subjects, such as, History (Indigenous, Canadian and Contemporary), Entrepreneurship, as well as French and English Language Arts,
BIOGRAPHY
I am the STORY that I create and express by integrating and reshaping other narratives in the process. An edition that until now includes Las Vegas, embedded in war zones, producing feature films at Disney Studios, The Dalaï-Lama, two Gémeaux awards, UNESCO, International documentary filmmaking, Le Cirque du Soleil, and today Teaching First Nation youth. These career mileposts do make me proud but what truly defines me is an ability to retain child-like wonder, and extend creative possibilities.
